Excellent approach to lifestyle and diet with significant detail to macro-nutrients: carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. I must say following the recipes every day and adding some of my cultural influence for seasoning has given me momentum to follow the other steps taught such as having a buddy to do this with, keep a record of what I eat and when balancing my intake to fit my body mass. It's not always easy when trying to stick to a diet so every recipe helps! Some great recipes in here that I haven't seen before.

I have tried the low carb high fat diet before and have had great success but have gotten busy with work and was just having difficulty getting back into the groove of it but upon reading this book I am motivated again and have found the core fundamental processes that would help with weight loss and getting back into this diet. Would recommend this book to anyone looking to get into low carb diet
This book does not have lists of foods to choose from in depth. With this list we can make our own choices for the meals we eat. Not everyone wants to buy ingredients we don't normally use. No help with eating out.
Designed to be a quick start guide, but doesn't give a lot of information. The few recipes here are not something I would make. They almost all add ingredients that I have never seen in a low car recipe. Bananas, apples and oranges are not usually found in low carb. I expect to see berries and melons, but that about it. None of the recipes have the carb count. The use of wheat flour in one of the recipes definitely goes against the grain, pun intended. Not sure this is the right book for a beginner.
